Slowly walk in your living room and at the same time, focus at a point from the other part of the room… And while walking and focusing to that point you say this:

“I have always been 130 pounds”…  or “I have always been healthy, sexy and beautiful ” (this is also a very powerful affirmation).

And try to be very focused. Say it with passion, as truly, for as long as you remember, you have always been healthy and skinny 🙂  

If you get distracted, do it again. The goal is to make this affirmation become absolute truth for you 🙂

Hi, my name is Aline Pilani and in this article I will show you the fastest way to lose weight for women and I will show you what has been working for my clients for the past 5 years.

So, I had to come up with a plan that worked and worked fast if I wanted to be successful as a personal trainer.

Luckily for you, the weight loss plan I created over 6 years ago has helped over 100.000 women and still counting and if you follow it as I share it below, you too can lose 14 to 22 pounds in your first month. Even more if you follow my plan precisely.

The fastest way to lose weight for women – how do you do it ?

1. Have the right weight loss mindset

The first thing you will need to work on is making the decision that you will stick to it for 30 days.

This means that you’ll change your habits and implement a new way of eating. All the toxins you have accumulated through bad nutrition must be eliminated from your body in order to restart your liver and increase your metabolism.

If you don’t do this part, you will simply not be able to stay on my program for 30 days. So, here’s what I want you to do right now: close your eyes and imagine yourself eating healthy. Imagine how you exercise and feel great about it, how you prepare and eat salads, how you go for a walk in the park and how you are losing weight. Imagine how in 30 days from now you are 22 pounds lighter! 

2. Start Exercising

The fastest way to lose weight for women involves exercising, but not the long boring cardio I know you hate. I am talking about very short – 18 minutes – but intense workouts which I recommend you do on your empty stomach.

Because I want you to push to the maximum in my workouts, at every 30 seconds I introduced 15 seconds of active rest, in which you will ketch your breath and prepare for the next intense 30 seconds.

And reason why I recommend you do my workout on empty stomach right after you wake up in the morning are:

  • you have little or no distractions and few reasons to skip them
  • you can do them in your own living-room without any kind of equipment needed.
  • since you do them in the morning, you will jump-start your metabolism and you’ll be alert and filled with energy all day long

3. Drink over 3 liters of water each day

drinking more water is the fastest way to lose weight for womenOne of the reasons why lots of people are overweight is the fact that they eat a meal instead of drinking water.  They simply confuse thirst with hunger and for this reason on average, women in USA are drinking 300 calories more each day than what they should have.

For example, if your BMR is 1500 calories a day, and you eat 1800 calories a day, in a year the total is over 100.000 calories, which means you will gain close to 30 pounds in a year.

I am sure you don’t want that, so develop the habit of drinking 3 liters of water each day, and each time you feel hungry, simply drink a glass of water before the meal you plan to have. You will see that many times, you will not even bu hungry.

4. Eliminate sugar and sugary drinks from your diet!

cut out all sugar from your dietConsuming sugar, sugary drinks like soda or fruit juice is the worst thing you can do for your body, because they are all high in fructose.

Consuming fructose increases insulin levels which them block the brain from seeing your Leptin signals. That means that even if you have eaten many calories from sugar, your brain will not see these calories and will think that you are starving, so it will increase your hunger. That is the reason why people who eat a lot of sugar are always hungry and can’t lose any weight.

Studies have also shown that 30% of the calories you consume from sugar are transformed into fat, which not only that is being stored inside your fat tissues, but while it runs through your blood as triglycerides, can be easily oxidated and in years can lead to heart disease.

The only safe way to consume sugar is from natural fresh fruit, and the reason for this is the fact that fruits contain a lot of fiber which slows down the digestion of the sugar and thus, keeps your insulin levels low.

5. Consume a diet which is high in protein and fresh vegetables (a great source of fiber).

Here are a few reasons why protein is so important for weight loss:

  • it increases your metabolism, because of protein’s thermic effect. If you consume 100 grams of protein, which is 400 calories, your body needs to consume around 20% of them just to digest it
  • protein reduces your cravings and hunger
  • makes your skin elastic and your face, hair and nails will look better
  • builds new muscles, which will use more calories and thus you’ll develop a fast metabolism.

My personal recommendation is to stay at 1300 – 1500 calories a day, from which 45% of them to  be from protein, 20 to 25% from fat and the rest from carbs.

This is the fastest way to lose weight for women and this will work for you guaranteed!

6. Sleep at least 7 hours each night.

Ok, you will have less energy, your metabolism slows down, your ability to concentrate and perform your job will be reduced, however most importantly, your cortisol levels will increase, which means you will be stressed, and thus you will be hungry more often and you’ll have more late night cravings.

Contrary to what many people think, a weight loss surgery does not offer an easy way out of the weight, it actually still demands for plenty of discipline and dedication for the desired results to be achieved. It only helps you reduce on the amount of food that you can eat.

I was, however willing to go the extra mile to make the surgery work for me. I was desperate to lose weight and I would do anything possible to fit into a sexy dress. I of course had to go through the pre-surgery tasks and tests to get me ready. 

The day finally arrived and I found myself sitting in the pre-op room early in the morning. My brave side had completely faded and now I sat there going through all kinds of emotions but focusing more on the negatives.

I worried about how the surgery would go, whether it would be a success, whether it would work on the long run and whether I would make it through without any form of complications.

They were all justified and valid questions whose answers I unfortunately had to wait and see. I thank God that my new husband was with me as I took the baby steps towards a new me.

He was with me through the surgery preparation and the pre surgery pep talk from my surgeon.  We were just hoping that everything would turn out great.

A few hours later I was in recovery very sore, but happy that my surgery was a success with no complications. It was time to start with my second phase of losing weight and there was no time to rest however sore I felt.

There was a need to get me back to my feet to hasten healing and my nurse fortunately was more than nice to offer all assistance that I needed especially with the getting up and out of my hospital bed.

She was so encouraging even during those moments I felt I could not walk on my own. She pushed me hard and finally I was walking without help. Three days later I was out of hospital and very ready to do what remained.

After my weight loss surgery

The gastric bypass was not the end of things for me as far as weight loss went. I had to follow guidelines to start shedding off the pounds. The next 11 months saw a total lifestyle change for me.

I started eating healthy and kept off sugar, grease and fast foods that despite being enjoyable are weight gain culprits. I ate small amounts of food and lots of fruits and vegetables and remained very faithful to my exercises and vitamins.

my before weight loss photoThis was a vacation that I took with my family 3 weeks after my weight loss surgery, and as you can see I was already 20 pounds lighter and I was getting healthier than I ever was.

When you see results coming up so fast, you get motivated, and I became so motivated that losing weight became the focus of my life.

Well, of course, after my family, which was simply amazing to have beside me in those hard times…

tracy before and after weight loss photosBy the end of the 11th month, I had lost 189 lbs!. I was at 161 lbs from 350 lbs and I could wear sizes I never thought I would ever wear and it felt wonderful.

I have kept some of my old clothes to serve as a reminder of where I do not wish to go back as far as weight is concerned.

Again, together with my family, we went on another vacation. As you see, I was not the same. It seemed as if I shrink because of the cold weather :-))

The Downside of losing weight with surgery – What I did to get in great shape and become really sexy and fit

You see, I have lost all that weight mainly because I ate so much less than I used to. I did exercise, but I did not follow a real exercise plan, so I was covered in cellulite, and didn’t have a great looking body.

My skin was quite loose, especially around my waist line…. Even though I was skinnier, I hated how I looked in the mirror.

So, I decided to do whatever it takes to look great. I wanted to be sexy.

I was already skinny (kind of – cause I needed to lose another 30 pounds), so I only had to tone my body and make my skin elastic again, to look great…
